A friend who owns a business on the beach recommended us trying The Sandspur while in town. A little confusing when we came in, wanting to sit outside but realizing there's no service outside, but once we were seated and grabbed some drinks, all was well. Hubby loves that they offer THC drinks. Had the tuna nachos and blackened fish (grouper) sandwich with a side salad. Everything was super delicious and we'll likely dine again before going back home! Those nachos beat the tuna nachos we loved at a spot on Folly Beach, where we are originally from. Really amazing. The vibe is chill. The music was great (Mac Miller in a small beach eatery? Come on!). Service was good. And the food was really delicious. Go here. You will not be sorry!
Hats off to the chef! We nearly tried every entree on the menu, from an embarrassing amount of visits. That’s because Sandspur is a culinary gem in CB. My top three are the fish tacos (mahi), elote crab dip and the cheesesteak. Always had great, friendly service from every staff member.
Wow! This was no doubt the best wrap I have had. Nashville Fried Hot Honey Shrimp Wrap! And the fries were perfectly fried. I would love to visit again so I could try their other menu items.
